Anyone seen any good movies lately? We never get to watch any at all, but I can live vicariously through other people....

I just started watching the spike lee remake of "old boy". Can't say I'm too impressed. The hallway scene way too perfect.

I haven't seen a movie in ages. We're in the golden age of television. No time for movies!
I was having a convo about this yesterday, and was told that despite being a Hollywood movie with silly special effects, I really should see Pacific Rim. Apart from that, I really have lost track...
New season of TPB coming though!

Yeah I liked pacific rim. It's a solid movie and it doesn't take itself too seriously, so I think the formula works for a blockbuster.

We saw X-Men:Days of Future Past last week. Solid. Want to see Godzilla. I watched Oblivion on a whim and was pleasantly surprised.
Anyone else watch Luther with Idris Elba?

I want to see the x-men one. From what I hear it's a jab in the eye to x-men3: Asian Blowfish man attack! Godzilla looks good too. I have wanted to start luther, just haven't got around too it. Is it decent?

I just watched this last night and was definitely entertained. If you watch closely, there's even a good couple minutes filmed driving between MV and just North of Burlington, with a stop at the Bow Hill Cruisin' Coffee! Todd Barry - Crowd Work TourAnd since we're on the subject of stand-up comedians in the north-end, Patton Oswalt does a fantastic 15 minutes about the Tulalip Casino in his latest special. Patton Oswalt - Tragedy Plus Comedy Equals Time

Luther is really good; it's a really good character. Also the new Sherlock is pretty wicked too.

I've seen two or three of the first Sherlocks. Definitely good stuff! I dig pretty much anything Martin Freeman is in. Which reminds me... Fargo, anyone?
