Speaking of crossfit have you guys checked out the gymjones site? It's the guy who trained all the 300 dudes to have mad ripped abs. Anyway it's pretty much a crossfit ripoff but with alot more bells and whistles. It could be an interesting workout though. Coincidentally Jeremy Jones from the snowboard fame works out there.

Man, I'm loving the crossfit. I'm trying to push myself to workout a bit more than my natural tendency of 3 days per week. Shit, in December alone so far, I've already gone to the gym almost 40% of the times I went in November, so I'm off to a good start. First at mine, and then at Myke's suggestion, I'm putting a bit of concerted work into re-developing my pull-ups. When I tried to go from my old "pullups" to kipping, I realized something was missing. I then started comparing my form against others' and saw I was not doing them properly. So now I'm working around this scheme ( crossfitlp.com/200805/developing-your-first-pull-ups/) to hopefully get back up to speed. I know what happened...I was able to execute the first pullup of my life, and just started blazing forward, not thinking about form because I was so excited. Now I gotta take a step back, and so far so good.

i did 4 tummy tucks last night and was feeling pretty good. My abs are made of a thick rubber like substance i call blumber..its like blubber but you now i am not a whale so how would that be possible. When i do crossfit or xfit as i like to call it i feel so good i just think about eating mahi and hogg'in hog..shit even think about auggie dog. I did 10 trashcan dips yesterday at work...then i totally did some pole vaults over my wheelbarrow (the black beauty). I am getting pumped up for putting my boots on, gotta work on my breathing tho sometimes i just dont breath right and it hurts my performance so i gotta take a step back *sigh* and work on it. xfit for life!

man its fucking hard to put on your shoes backwards...how do you guys do that? Other than that i am totally crossfitted out! Do it Cross and Fit! my pants and sagging and my abbs are blazing

For those not in the know, trash can dips are also called hobo dips which involves keeping both feet planted on the ground and dipping one's head and arms into said can in search of a protein drink or power-carbs (warm milkshake or cold frenchfries in layman's terms). Hobo hand stand pushups are similar, but both feet are elevated for maximum muscle fuel acquisition.

i was checking out the youtube yesterday and came upon this gymnasts page: www.youtube.com/user/geoffcrafthe does some pretty crazy stuff, but there are also some good ideas for building strength. Man I'm bout to do the wod and this week has been punishment on the legs...I tried to do the weighted lunges yesterday with the slosh pipe overhead. Pretty classic. Did not work out so well.

oh man so i was working today and i saw this really cool bench with bags of sand on each end so i got all xfitty and got after it. Next thing i know i am 300 bench swings in and some dude walking by was like "wow is that xfit!!!" and i was like "yea bra just doing a few bench swings" so he was fired up (rightfully so its fucking xfit) and wanted in on the action. He was walking down the road towing a reinforced cart with what he claimed was 1200 lbs (seemed more like 900 to me) in it. So i gave him the bench and took his cart and sprinted around the block 2x. While running around the block i came across a swimming pool so i decided to step it up a notch, dropped the cart into the drink...next thing i know i am swimming laps towing this cart on the bottom of the pool...MAX PUMP! I showed the dude the pool and he was STOKED. We gonna call this workout "beatris" unless its already been snagged. 200 bench swings, spring 2 laps with cart in town, 30 laps in the pool towing the cart and then repeat the whole thing 3 times. Seriously pumping some shit out there today. Gotta a big xfit lined up for this afternoon...i will telll you guys ALL about it when i am done. CROSSFIT

the funny thing kev is there are way more bro bras smoking weed and snowboarding on the mountain than bro bras doing crossfit.
In better news, I got my muscle ups back. It's been a while and I was able to do 8 today. those fuckers are hard.

I think these messages from Kev really drive home what is at issue here:
It's not that he's taking issue with the crossfit or exercise, it's that Kev is fearing a personality crisis due to realizing that the Stoner vs. Jock archetype fails to hold up once you reach a certain age.

I did a pretty sweet progression the other day along the lines of the shoulder press, push press, push jerk. It's OHS 1x5, front squat 3x5 , back squat 5x5. You are feeling pretty juicy towards the end, but I still got within like 6lbs of my pr for the back squat. I have now employed my old mattress to drop OHS onto instead of lowering it. Way better.
